Our Story
Originally founded in 2013 as Venuemob, we merged with Spare Workspace in 2019, bringing together Australia’s two largest venue marketplaces - one for event spaces and one for meeting rooms. In 2020, we rebranded as VenueNow.
Since then, VenueNow has become the No.1 platform for venue discovery and booking, trusted by event organisers across Australia and New Zealand. Both Venuemob and Spare Workspace played a pivotal role in reshaping the industry by providing venues with a powerful marketing and sales channel through superior web traffic, ease of use and dedication to customer service.

In 2024, VenueNow expanded into New Zealand, furthering our mission to make planning seamless across the region. We also introduced Vera, our AI-powered venue finder.
